The amount of testers is still limited, as it is in Alpha, but the limit is raised to hundreds or thousands of players in order to expand testing for gameplay and server stability.

Generally speaking, closed beta is meant to be “closed” from the general public, meaning that you must sign up and be approved before you can download the game to test it. The length of this testing phase really can vary upon the developer’s needs. The “Closed Beta” stage comes after any Alpha testing, and may be split into multiple short focus sessions (sometimes called “stress tests”) or held in one longer session. If you would like be one of the first exploring our SAP UX Explorer data with the Semantic Viewer – it’s your chance.Steel Circus held a short period alpha test in March 2019.īecause it is very unstable, and often represents an unfinished game, alpha testing is usually only done internally or with “friends and family.” When the public is invited to Alpha testing, it is almost always done in very small amounts with a selected group of people that the developers feel will provide useful feedback during this stage. How can I get access to the Semantic Viewer? Of course we want to further extend this tool so that it can become your best companion to easily navigate through our SAP UX Explorer content and explore helpful information. At the same time however, you can also explore the neighbors of the neighbors which reveals additional interesting information. This is exactly the same information like the one in the screenshot above. The screenshot below for example shows the direct neighbor topics of SAP HCP filtered by the relation type “delivered by”. Obviously, it is not easy to consume that information, especially if a topic holds a lot of relations or if you want to oversee the relations holistically. Up to now however, these relations were provided by text only: There are already hundreds of relations that can be explored. The Semantic Viewer for SAP UX Explorer allows you to visualize the relations between different topics in our database. I had the chance to demo it already during the ASUG webinar “SAP UX Explorer – Overview” with great feedback. If you like the SAP UX Explorer and the exposed relations, I’m sure you are going to love the new Semantic Viewer (Beta) we are currently working on. You can also access the Semantic Viewer directly. Please find more details in our latest news log. The “closed beta” of the Semantic Viewer has been turned into an “open beta” with version 3.0 of the Explorer in December 2015.
